Yolanda and I are excited to host our first Revive Black Business event of 2022 for Black business owners and entrepreneurs. Virtual ONLY.  We will be joined by a number of our local and national business friends and associates including Dr. Pamela Jolly and Dr. George Fraser virtually.

The session on January 15th will focus on:

  • Helping Black businesses get to know what resources and opportunities are available to them
  • Identifying the sources of millions of dollars in contracts, grants, loans and equity that will be available in 2022
  • Highlighting businesses and entrepreneurs that are great examples of success within each component
  • Inviting attendees to participate going forward through the local and national events, activities and initiatives.

We plan to host our monthly luncheon, quarterly summits and the annual Black Business Expo (in conjunction with the African-American Leadership Conference) again in 2022.

We look forward to seeing you virtually on Saturday, January 15th.

Revive Black Business Luncheon and Network

BACKGROUND

(Supporting Don McPherson & Styles of Evolution for 17 Years)

We are celebrating 20 years of our personal and professional commitment to the Black Business Challenge and Exchange, helping to support the launch, growth and expansion of Black businesses.  It also marks 14 years since the launch of Revive Omaha Magazine where we have highlighted businesses through stories, profiles and the Black Business Guide.

We are also relaunching the Revive Black Business Luncheons that we held from 2013-2019 (Pre-COVID) and launching a more formal Black Business Network (locally and nationally) to support specific initiatives.

Over the past nine years, 350+ businesses have participated.  We have amazing partnerships that have developed over the years on the national level and we look forward to sharing more about how we are collaborating to bring you even more opportunities.

In addition, we are excited to formally launch the Revive Black Business Network.  We will be sharing more information at the Summit and will also have the membership application page link available very soon.
